Alan George Memorial YMCA Scholarship
For a graduating high school senior who has obtained at least a 3.0 GPA and one that is affiliated with the Thomasville YMCA in some capacity such as a member or employee or whose parents are affiliated with the Thomasville YMCA. Further consideration will be given based on financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities.

Bill Reynolds Memorial Scholarship
For a graduating senior from a high school located in Decatur County, Georgia.
Other considerations include the applicant’s leadership history, earned honors,
and academic achievements.

Brian Reagan Memorial Scholarship
For a graduating senior of Lowndes County High School located in Lowndes County, Georgia or a Valdosta State University student; who has enrolled or intends to enroll in Valdosta State University and pursuing a degree in business, math or science, and has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. Other considerations will be leadership abilities, community service, students that have overcome adversity and financial need.

Cairo High School Band Scholarships
For graduating seniors of Cairo High School who have been outstanding instrumental students and members of the Cairo High School Band.
The award is based on financial need, scholastic achievement, band achievement, extracurricular school and community activities, work ethic, and leadership qualities. This fund also assists students who are unable to afford the cost of obtaining their primary musical instruments to play in the band, assists in purchasing music for the high school band program, and assists in purchasing non-musical equipment for the band program.

Candice Sellers Memorial Scholarship
For a graduating senior of Bainbridge High School in Bainbridge, Georgia, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Other considerations include community service, extracurricular school activities, financial need, academic achievement and personal integrity and character.

Dr. Charlie Watt Memorial Scholarship
For a graduating senior of Brookwood School, Inc., located in Thomasville, Ga., who also is member of the football program during their graduating year. Further consideration will be given to those who have achieved a high academic grade point average, embody personal character, and who have also exhibited outstanding leadership among his/her classmates.

For graduates of Mitchell County Schools who have attained at least a 3.0 GPA.

This scholarship shall benefit the following organizations and their students: Camilla Schools, Inc., Pelham City Board of Education, Mitchell County 4-H Club, and Mitchell County Board of Education.
C. M. and Bernice C. Stripling UGA Forestry Scholarship
For a student who graduated or will graduate from an accredited Georgia high school; has enrolled or intends to enroll in the University of Georgia’s School of Forest Resources pre-professional program of study and if enrolled, has three quarters or more or two semesters or more remaining before becoming eligible to enter the School of Forest Resources as a professional student; has been in the top academic half of his or her high school graduating class and if one or more quarters or semesters of college have been completed, must have maintained a grade point average of at least a 3.0.

For a Georgia resident and graduate from an accredited dental hygiene school, attending an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Georgia and in need of funding for continuing education credits, have maintained a 3.0 GPA, having completed at least one quarter or semester of study and have a financial need.

For graduates of Seminole County High School in Donalsonville,
Georgia and must be among the top academic half of his or her high
school graduating class. The award shall also be based on the following considerations: community service, extracurricular school activities, financial need, academic achievement and personal integrity and character.

For a graduating senior from Valdosta High School or Lowndes County High School in Valdosta, Georgia, and must be graduating in the top academic half of his or her high school graduating class. College students currently in their freshman or sophomore year at Valdosta State University may also apply. Further consideration shall be given for community service, extracurricular school activities, financial need, academic achievement and personal integrity and character.

For a graduating senior who is an active member of the Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church, with membership established at least two (2) years prior to be eligible for the scholarship, who is enrolled or intends to enroll in a post secondary educational institution and has maintained at least a 3.0 GPA.

Hannah Fesperman Memorial Scholarship
For financial assistance to children who attend William Heights Elementary School in Waycross, Georgia, to participate in school-sponsored events. Considerations for assistance will be financial need, character, commitment to learning and attitude toward others. This fund is designed to recognize the character of a child and not dependent on academic qualifications.

Mitchell EMC – Operation Round Up Scholarship
For a graduating high school senior or a student currently enrolled in or attending a post secondary college or university in the United States, and has attained at least a 2.5 GPA in high school (if a graduating senior) or attained at least a 2.5 GPA in college (if currently attending a post secondary college or university in the United States). The student must have their primary residence in the Mitchell EMC service area and further consideration will be given based on financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities.

Robert Warde Chambers Scholarship
For graduating seniors of Brooks County High School and continuing education scholarships to teachers employed a minimum of one year with the Brooks County School System. The graduating senior must have obtained at least 2.50 GPA in high school. Other considerations include the student’s extracurricular activities, earned honors, community service, recommendations from teachers, and financial need. To be eligible for the teacher scholarship, the recipient must be employed in the Brooks County School System at least one full year. Other considerations include extracurricular involvement with the students, satisfactory classroom performance rating as evidenced by student progress, and financial need.

Tucker Baptist Association Scholarship
For a graduate who is also a member of a church which is part of the Tucker Baptist Association. The applicant must be enrolled in a seminary, Bible college, or other educational institution where they are training for a Christian gospel ministry vocation. This may include but is not limited to, training as a pastoral minister, youth minister, music minister, educational minister, and foreign or home missionary. The training may be a degree program such as a Masters of Divinity, etc., or the training may be a seminar or educational course related to ministry development.
